Veronica Reyes-How
Creator/Showrunner/Actor

Veronica Reyes-How (Creator/Writer/EP) is an award-winning writer, actor, and producer based in New York City. A first-generation Filipino-American, she graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.A. in Mathematics before leaving a career in tech consulting after booking the national tour of RENT from an open-call audition. Soon after, she was selected for the prestigious ABC/Disney Talent Showcase and went on to appear in Blue Bloods (CBS), The Blacklist (NBC), Person of Interest (CBS), and Alex, Inc. (ABC). She was also featured in HBO’s documentary East of Main Street alongside Lucy Liu and Daniel Dae Kim.

Her producing work includes a short film she co-produced and starred in, which screened at over ten festivals and won Best Micro Thriller at the Austin Revolution Film Festival. Ultimately, Veronica discovered her true passion in writing. Her scripts have been finalists in eight national competitions. After completing the Sesame Street Writing Fellowship, she was hired as an Executive Producer and head writer to develop children’s shows with a focus on math. That same year, she created, wrote, and executive produced the indie TV series Mother, May I Have a Kidney?, which premiered at the 2025 Tribeca Film Festival.

In 2025, Veronica was selected for The Writer’s Lab, a prestigious screenwriting program supported by Meryl Streep, Nicole Kidman, and Natalie Portman, where she is developing her script American Doctor.

She credits her journey to God, her husband Brad, and their chihuahua Fergus, “without whom this life would not be possible.”
